Our Place
We sit nestled beneath Te Poho-o-Tamatea, (the Port Hills) our turangawaewae, our place of standing. When we look out over our landscape we see Te Tihi o Kahukura (Castle Rock), the pinnacle of the rainbow an ancient rock formation, a taonga to tangata whenua.
Our learning environment is richly resourced and provides children with a wide range of activities to foster creativity and curiosity. Children are encouraged to be independent thinkers, who are able to communicate their ideas and work alongside others cooperatively.
Our well resourced centre offers a rich variety of activities that support children's physical, social, and cognitive development while nurturing their sense of belonging and wellbeing.
Kaiako work alongside tamariki, guiding and supporting their learning journey every step of the way. We embrace our community as an extension of our learning environment, creating meaningful opportunities and experiences that reach beyond the centre walls.
Our special place, its history and its people.
